So, I’ve been running a little car hire thing out of St-Andrews-Fife, South Street, and I’ve got a decent mix of electric and hybrid vehicles on hand — mostly for people who want something reliable, eco-friendly, and flexible.

I’ve got Teslas — Model 3s (both long and standard range), a Model S, and a 7-seater Model X. The Model 3s are good for daily use, especially if you're doing a lot of city driving. The Model X is great for families or groups. All of them are fully electric, so no congestion charge or ULEZ issues — that’s a big plus for me.

Then there’s the BMWs — 530e SE and M Sport versions, plus a 330e and the 745Le luxury one. The 530e is a plug-in hybrid, so it’s not fully electric, but it’s still quite efficient. The 745Le is top-tier, if you're looking for something premium. I’ve also got the i5 M Sport, which works well with Uber Exec and Wheely.

Mercedes is solid too — EQE and EQS are fully electric, with good range. The EQV is a 7-seater MPV, perfect for longer trips or group rides. The EQS has a 450-mile range — that’s a bit of a deal for a luxury EV.

I’ve also got some affordable options — like the MG5 EVs, which go up to £199 a week depending on trim, and the Hyundai IONIQ and Kia Niro hybrids. The MG HS PHEV is a bit more budget-friendly, and the Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid is a solid all-rounder.

I’m not charging a lot — it’s £9 for a quick check-out if you’re just looking to try one out. I’ve got insurance, MOT, servicing, tyres, and tax all covered — no stress.

You can book jobs up to three days ahead — useful if you're doing airport runs or short trips. I’ve got Uber, Bolt, Ola, and a few other apps integrated, so it’s easy to get on the go.
