Colchester Mascot 1600 Gap Bed Centre Lathe 60 Inch Centres

Description

This is my old Colchester Mascot 1600 gap bed centre lathe – I’ve had it for a few years and used it mostly for hobby projects and some light work around the home workshop. It’s a solid machine with a 17" swing over the bed, 60" distance between centres, and a 3" spindle bore. It goes up to 1600 rpm, comes with a 3-jaw chuck (12") and a 4-jaw chuck (16"), plus a fixed 3-point steady rest and two quick-change tool posts with six tool holders. The copy attachment works well too.

It’s been used but still runs smoothly, and I’ve kept it well-maintained. I’m moving to Tavistock in West Devon and am looking to part with it – it’s not something I need in the new place.

I’m happy to show it in person if you're local, and I can arrange a viewing at my place with a bit of notice. Delivery is possible, though it’s subject to prior sale and transport quotes will be provided if needed.

All prices include VAT – I’ve paid for that, so it’s clear from the start.
