So I’ve been keeping this little Fiat 500 in my garage for a few years now – not because I need it, but because it’s just one of those cars that feels right. It’s a 2015 model, brown, 3-door hatchback, manual transmission, and it’s been a great little driver for city life and weekend trips.

I bought it new back in 2015, and it’s had a long MOT history – I’ve had it through the full 2019 to now, so it’s been properly looked after. The interior is clean, the seats are still in good shape, and the 7-inch TFT screen is actually really handy – I use it to play music, check the GPS, or just keep an eye on the speed and fuel.

It’s got a bit of a sporty feel – the alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, and the red accents make it stand out. I love how easy it is to park in tight spots thanks to the power steering and rear sensors. The fog lights are a real plus when it’s damp or rainy, and the seat memory settings mean I can always get back to my preferred driving position.

I’ve got a full list of safety features – ABS, ESP, airbags, EBD, and even a voice recognition system. The fuel economy is decent too – around 60.1mpg, and it only produces 110g/km of CO2. Road tax is just £20 a year, so it’s not expensive to keep running.

It’s not flashy, but it’s practical, reliable, and kind of just… works well. I’ve used it for everything from school runs to weekend getaways.
