REDTIGER VC70 4K+2.5K Dash Cam Front and Rear
Description
So, I’ve had this Redtiger VC70 for a few months now and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. I bought it after seeing how much detail it captures, especially with that Sony Starvis 2 lens — one of the best in the business. The front records in true 4K, which is wild how sharp it is, and the rear does 2.5K, which is enough to read license plates clearly. I’ve used it on long drives and even during the night, and it’s been pretty solid. The night vision is actually pretty good — front camera has blacklight mode, so it doesn’t go dark when it’s pitch black. The rear one’s upgraded too, which helps when you’re parked and something’s happening around you. I’ve had a few near-misses at night and it caught them clearly.
It connects via Wi-Fi too — 5.8GHz, and the download speed is lightning fast. I can see the footage right on my phone in real time. The app is actually pretty easy to use, and I can adjust settings or share clips without having to pull the device out. GPS records everything too — route, speed, timestamps — so if I ever need to prove something, it’s there.
One of the cool things is that it does 24-hour parking monitoring. If there’s a collision, it locks onto that moment and saves the footage. There’s also a time-lapse feature that helps in low light, so you don’t miss anything even when it’s dim.
I’ve used it in both my car and a couple of rental vehicles — the lens rotates and the bracket just slips in, so it’s easy to move between cars. I’ve even taken it out of the car when I needed to keep it safe.
It’s still brand new and sealed, never been used. I’ve only kept it in one vehicle, and it’s been running great. I’m selling it because I’m moving to a new place and don’t need it with me. Price is £112.50 — cash only. Based in Llangollen, Denbighshire.
