I’ve had this 2017 C220d AMG Line cabriolet for a few years now – it’s been a real joy to drive, especially with the smooth automatic transmission and that AMG styling. It’s not flashy, but it’s got all the tech you’d expect from a proper Mercedes: hands-free Bluetooth, DAB radio, touchscreen nav with SD card, and even a Garmin Map Pilot. The DYNAMIC SELECT modes let you switch between Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ depending on the day – I’ve actually found myself using Sport+ on the way to the hills.

Inside, it’s got that leather steering wheel with the 3-spoke AMG look, heated front seats, and a nice touch of ambient lighting. The seats are sports-style with headrests, and the rear seats fold down easily – useful when you’re going on longer trips. There’s a good amount of storage, including a centre armrest with a drawer and cup holders. I’ve also got the memory pack, so all my seat and mirror settings save automatically.

It’s got a lot of safety features – ABS, ESP, multiple airbags, hill hold, and tyre pressure monitoring. The active park assist and collision prevention systems have been great for parking in tight spots. The glass is green-tinted, and the mirrors auto-dim, which is a small but handy thing.

I bought it new and have kept it well, so it’s in solid condition. It’s been serviced regularly, and I’ve kept the service history clean. I’m not selling it for a lot – it’s £15,565.50 – but it’s still a solid daily driver and I’ve used it for everything from city drives to weekend getaways.
