So, I’ve got this Roland TD-8 V-Drums module — the one with the mount and power supply — and I’m parting with it. I picked it up from a SA16 0PR sale, and it’s been cleaned and fully tested. Honestly, it’s not perfect — there are just a few tiny marks and micro scratches, nothing major. But it’s still working perfectly, every single function. I ran it through a full diagnostics test, and everything from the drum kits to the V-Edit settings works like a charm.

It’s got all the classic features: 1,286 sounds, 64 drum kits, V-Edit for tuning shells, head type, muffling, and snare strainer — you can tweak it like a real drum kit. The backlit LCD is bright, the buttons are rubbery and easy to use, and the faders let you adjust group levels instantly. There’s onboard ambience and EQ, a sequencer with 800 patterns (700 presets, 100 user), and you can chain up to 16 drum kits.

I’ve used it for years in a home studio setup, and I’ve got a lot of other Roland parts I’ve had over the years — if you’re into that kind of thing, I can probably share some of those too.

I’ve been on eBay for over 20 years, and I’ve always tried to keep things honest — 100% feedback, no tricks. This one works fully, MIDI in and out is set up, so you can connect it to other modules or gear.

It’s from Saxmundham, East Suffolk — just a quick note in case you’re local. I’m not charging a lot — it’s around £144 — but it’s what it is. If you’re curious, I’ll answer any questions.

Just want to make sure you know it’s not a “mint” condition, but it’s still solid, reliable, and does everything it’s supposed to. If you’ve ever wanted to get into drum module stuff, this is a solid starting point.
