2010 Honda VFR1200FD

Description

Got this 2010 Honda VFR1200FD sitting in the garage for a few years now, and I’m finally getting ready to part with it. It’s a shaft-driven tourer with the DCT (dual-clutch transmission), so it’s smooth and easy to ride, especially on longer trips. The engine’s a 1237cc V4, good power, around 170bhp — plenty for the road. I’ve had it through 9 service stamps, all done at main dealers, and it’s got a clean MOT until July 2026.

Odometer reads 34,476 — not much use, but it’s been kept well cared for. Comes with the owner’s manual, 3-box luggage, heated grips, spotlights, and two keys. V5 registration, HPI clear, and everything’s been checked out.

I’m putting it up for auction on September 5th, 2025, at Manor Park Classics — they’ve got a solid setup on park-street, Watling Street. I know it’s not cheap, but I’ve been using it as a weekend rider, and it’s a reliable machine. The auction estimate is around £2,500 to £3,000, with buyer’s premium and VAT, so it’ll likely end up in that range.

I’ve only ever used it for short trips, so it’s still in great shape. If you’re looking for a solid, well-maintained tourer that doesn’t scream “racing” but still delivers performance, this might be it.

No warranty from the auction house — always good to check it yourself before you commit. I’d recommend seeing it in person, especially if you’re not familiar with the model. They’ve got open days before the auction, and I can arrange a viewing if needed.

It’s not a daily driver, but it’s a solid piece of kit that’s been kept properly and still runs well. Just wanted to get it out there before the auction.
