I’ve always loved dogs — my first one, Penny, was a black German Shepherd who stuck with me through some of the messiest, most emotional times of my life. When my wife was pregnant and we were stuck in lockdown with a newborn, Penny was my anchor. She’d be by my side, guarding the house, keeping me calm, and just being there — like she knew what was going on.

A friend of mine had a beautiful black German Shepherd named Sargent, and after talking it over, we decided to let Penny have one litter — a little surprise, a real family moment. We’re so grateful we had that chance. The puppies are healthy, full of energy, and already showing off their own personalities. There are two girls and two boys — each one a mix of both Penny and Sargent’s strong lines.

Penny’s dad was KC-registered, and Sargent’s side is also pedigree, so the bloodlines are solid. The pups have been raised in our home, with lots of cuddles, playtime, and gentle training from a young age.
