This 2015 Golf is one of those cars that just feels right — clean lines, solid build, and a lot of thoughtful extras from the factory. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been mostly driven gently, with service records showing 9 stamps and the last one done at 47k miles. It’s still running strong, and I’ve kept it well-maintained.

The interior is comfy with black cloth seats and that lapis blue metallic paint — looks great in the sun. Inside, there’s a whole suite of tech: parking sensors (front and back), rain-sensing wipers, adaptive cruise control with radar, and a DAB radio. Bluetooth lets you connect your phone wirelessly, and there’s a CD player too, which still works fine. The climate control’s dual-zone, so you can set different temps for the driver and passenger. I’ve got electric windows, fold-down mirrors, tinted glass, and a leather-covered steering wheel — all nice little touches.

Outdoors, it has bi-xenon lights, xenon headlights, and a sports suspension — gives it a bit of pep without being too aggressive. There’s also engine start/stop, hill hold, regenerative braking, and tyre pressure monitoring. First registration was January 2015, and it’s Euro 6 compliant, so no issues in low emission zones.

I bought it second-hand and it’s been a reliable daily driver. I’ve never had a major issue with it, and it’s been through a proper RAC inspection. The only thing I’d say is it’s a bit more refined than what you’d expect from a 2015 model — the tech feels fresh, the ride’s smooth.
