So, I’ve been keeping this bike for a while now — a 2005 Honda Transalp XL650V in black. It’s a solid V-twin adventure tourer, not flashy, but reliable and fun to ride. I’ve got it serviced properly and it’s got a clean history, with just 36,905 miles on the clock.

It’s got a tall touring screen, alloy bash plate, steel brake hoses, and a rental-style handlebar — all the basics. There’s a centre stand, a new exhaust (slip-on style), and it’s got both ignition keys. The immobiliser is working too.

I’m not selling it because I need the cash — just because I’ve moved to Flackwell Heath, Buckinghamshire, and I’m finally ready to hand it over to someone who’ll enjoy riding it properly.

It’s not a new bike, so there’s going to be some signs of age — like minor corrosion, scratches, or small cracks — that you’d expect from a 20-year-old classic. It’s not perfect, but it’s been well looked after and runs smoothly.
