So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of the best little diesels I’ve ever driven. It’s a 2016 Audi A1 Sport 3-door, 1.6 TDI, 113bhp — not flashy, but it’s got a real quiet, smooth engine that just doesn’t complain at all. I’ve had it through 104,300 miles and it’s still running like a dream.

I’ve had the original service stamps at 19k, 39k, and 58k — all proper Audi work — but after 2020, it went to a local garage for servicing, and the records weren’t kept. That said, the car still shows next service due in just over 7,000 miles and nearly six months out. I’m going to do a full oil and filter service before it goes to market, just to give it a clean start.

The alloys are spotless — four of them, all clean and shiny, with good tyres on. Front brakes were changed fairly recently, so that’s a solid thing. The car’s got a nice facelift look, and it’s been kept in good shape for its age. No rattles, no knocks, no weird noises. It drives perfectly, and on long runs, I get real-world fuel economy of around 60mpg — which is more than I expected for this kind of car.

It’s got ABS, alloy wheels, and safety belt pretensioners — all standard, nothing fancy. Both keys are still in the box, and I’ve kept the original owner’s booklets.
