This 2017 GLA 200d AMG Line estate is a solid, well-maintained diesel SUV with a clean, sharp look and loads of thoughtful safety features. It’s got that distinctive AMG styling – titanium grey 19-inch alloy wheels with a high-gloss finish, front and rear aprons, side skirts, and a sleek bodystyling that really gives it presence. The cabin feels modern and practical, with plenty of storage: a double cup holder, driver’s kneebag, front centre armrest with storage, and a neat footwell lighting setup.

Inside, there’s a full range of driver aids – like active braking with pedestrian detection (it actually lifts the bonnet during a crash), adaptive brake assist, hill start assist, and cruise control with limiter. Safety is a priority: dual-stage airbags for driver and front passenger, side and windowbags, child seat recognition, and a first aid kit tucked in the boot. The driving experience is smooth with the manual gearbox and dynamic select modes – you can switch between eco, comfort, and sport depending on how you want to drive. I’ve kept it well looked after, no major damage, and it’s been properly maintained. The car has a good history and still runs like a dream. It’s currently based in Guisborough, Redcar and Cleveland, and I’m just looking to part with it after using it for a few years.

It’s worth noting it’s priced at £9,630 – that’s a fair bit for what it is, especially given the features and reliability. I’ve been driving it regularly and it’s been a reliable workhorse.
