2013 Mercedes-Benz SL 350 Convertible
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — not because I needed it, but because I just *love* how it drives. It’s a 2013 SL 350, 3.5L V6, the blue efficiency version, with the G-Tronic transmission. I bought it new, and it’s been well-maintained, mostly just regular servicing and occasional top-ups.The red paint is still sharp, and the 18-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels look great on the road — they’re not flashy, but they do make a statement. I’ve never driven it in a way that’s been too aggressive, so it’s still smooth and responsive. The 302bhp engine isn’t something I’m pushing every day, but when I do take it out, it feels alive.
It has a 7-speed auto, which is nice for city driving and long stretches — no jarring shifts. I’ve got the COMAND online system with navigation, 8 speakers, and a 6-disc CD changer. I still use the old-school CD player for long drives, but I’ve also got Bluetooth, so I can connect my phone hands-free. The voice control works pretty well too — I’ve used it to adjust the climate, switch tunes, and even set a timer for the heater.
Safety features are solid — ABS, ESP, airbags (front, side, head), and even a roll-over bar that lifts automatically if it detects a crash. The adaptive headlights and cornering lights help in the rain or at night. I’ve had a few wet nights driving, and it’s been a big relief.
The roof opens and closes easily — I use the infrared key, which is handy. I’ve kept the original tinted glass, and the seats are still comfortable. The front seats have memory settings, and I’ve got lumbar support, which helps when you’re on long drives.
I’m not selling it to just anyone — I’ve lived in Longwell-green, Oldland for a while now, and it’s been a good fit. I’ve kept it in a secure garage most of the time, and it’s been well looked after.
The price is £18,675 — that’s not a lot for a car this old, especially with all the features and solid history. I’m not looking for a quick buyer. If you’re serious, or just want to know what it’s like to drive a classic Mercedes, I’d be happy to meet up — just call me and let me know when you’re free.
No fancy marketing, just a real car I’ve used and enjoyed. If you’ve ever driven a Mercedes and liked the feel of it, this one’s worth a look.
