1997 Yamaha TRX850 Classic Twin in Red and Black

This 1997 Yamaha TRX850 Classic Twin is one of those bikes you just can’t miss – red and black, classic styling, and it’s been treated with care. It’s got an R reg, only 26,140 miles on the clock, and I’ve actually owned it for a few years now – I sold it two years ago and the previous owner really loved it.

We’ve done proper servicing and maintenance over the years, so it’s been kept in great shape. The MOT’s valid until August 2025, and it comes with two keys, a full set of old MOTs, and the owner’s handbook. It’s been through four previous owners, and it’s got that period RennTec grab rail – looks and feels just like it did when it first came out.

It’s not a showroom machine – it’s a real classic, and like most of these older bikes, there’s going to be a bit of age-related stuff: some corrosion, maybe a few marks, a crack here or there – that’s normal for a bike this old. It’s not new, and it’s not supposed to be. But it runs well, has been maintained properly, and it’s been treated with respect.
