DYU A5 Road Legal Folding Electric Bike – Brand new in original box

I’m parting with this DYU A5 folding electric bike – it’s been sitting in my garage in Gourock, Inverclyde, and I’ve been using it mostly for short trips around town and some light trails. It’s brand new, still in the original box, so no wear at all.

The motor’s a solid 250W high-torque unit – feels smooth when you’re climbing hills or just getting going on flat roads. The battery’s 48V 7.5Ah and removable, gives me around 45km per charge, and charges in just over 3 hours. I’ve used it a few times and it’s reliable.

It has 14-inch tires (14" x 2.125") – good for city streets and light off-road, and the front and rear V-brakes give decent stopping power, which I’ve found useful in wet weather. The front fork and seat post have suspension, so it doesn’t feel jarring on bumpy bits of road.

There’s a rear seat rack too – handy if you’re carrying a small passenger or a load. The frame is aluminum alloy, lightweight and folds up tight – I’ve stored it in a small cupboard at home, so it’s not taking up much space.

It has a 3-speed gear system, which lets you adjust how hard you pedal depending on the situation. Max speed’s capped at 25km/h – UK legal limit, so no issues with traffic or regulations.

It’s got a load capacity of up to 120kg, weighs 28kg, and the box is about 108 x 22 x 75 cm. I’ve used it a few times, but it’s never been ridden far or stressed.

I’m not selling it to go far or do serious trail riding – just for daily commutes, quick runs, or weekend rides. It’s not been on any long trips, so it’s still in great shape.

Price is £395.10 – I’ve kept it low because I’m just getting rid of it, not selling it for a big profit.
