Got this old wooden shoe storage unit sitting in my shed in Shetland, Scotland. It’s solid white wood, not fancy but sturdy – the top has a padded cover so it’s basically a seat now. I’ve used it for years, kept it in good shape, and it’s still quite heavy, which I guess is part of its charm. It’s not perfect, but it works.
