Description

Got this Volvo FH 460 Globetrotter sitting in Barton-on-Sea, New Forest — it’s a proper heavy-duty 6x2 tractor unit with a high-roof sleeper cab, and it’s been fully Euro 6 compliant since new. The engine’s a 460 bhp turbo air-to-air cooled setup with Ad-Blue — I can remove that if you're shipping it overseas, so no issues there.

It’s got the full Volvo I-Shift semi-auto gearbox, multi-stage engine brake, and a single reduction drive axle with diff lock. The drive axle has Ecas air suspension with hand-held raise/lower controls — useful for adjusting ride height on the go. There’s also an air-suspended mid-lifting axle, full disc brakes, and a sliding fifth wheel with run-up ramps.

The fuel tank and chassis catwalk are both aluminium — keeps things light and durable. There’s a rear loading lamp, a full air deflector kit with cab side extensions, external sunvisor, and a PVCU vertical engine air intake. Driver’s seat’s an Isringhausen model with adjustable lumbar support, and the cab has a Webasto programmable night heater.

Windows, mirrors, and the sunroof are all electric — including heated mirrors and a pop-up sunroof. Climate control’s digital and fully programmable (though I haven’t tested it yet). Traction control, hill start assist, and both 12v and 24v aux sockets are all there. Radio and CD player, multi-function steering wheel, and storage space both under and overhead. Cruise control’s included too.

Plated weight and design weight are both 44,000 kgs — mileage is 867,994 km, and it’s been tested until the end of November 2025. Registration is PO68WNN, and the spec number is 34827.
