This solid oak chest of drawers is 98cm wide, 43cm deep, and 98cm high — a solid, clean piece that’s been in a smoke and pet-free home since new. Made from 100% solid oak, it’s built with traditional dovetail joints, so the drawers are strong and sturdy. All five drawers are deep and have solid oak sides, backs, bases, and runners — no flimsy stuff here. It’s a real piece of quality furniture, not some knock-off. I bought it new for £599 from Oak Furniture Land’s Farmhouse range, and it’s been well cared for over the years. It’s now sitting in my garage in ulceby, Ulceby Road, so collection’s easy — or I can arrange delivery if you’re up for it (extra cost, of course). I’ve had a couple of offers, one at £255, and I’m thinking of parting with it at £229.50.
