Description
Got this old wooden lamp from my dad’s old house in Markfield, Hinckley and Bosworth. It’s a solid antique hardwood standard with a heavy circular base and loads of ornate detailing. The brass lamp fitting was replaced recently, and it’s now rewired with a good length of cable and a new plug — all safe and easy to use. The paint is a lovely Frenchic Blackjack, a bit faded but still shows the character. I didn’t keep the original shade, so that’s missing. It’s 150cm tall with a base diameter of 38cm. It’s not super flashy, but it’s got a real charm and would fit perfectly in a classic living room or hallway. I’ve been using it for a bit to keep it in good shape, and it’s just sitting in a corner now. Price is £63 — happy to talk if you’re interested.Seller Information
