Description

Got this 2025 Keeway RKS 125 E5 sitting in my garage in Dorchester, Dorset — not exactly a flashy bike, but it’s got a real punch for city riding. The engine’s a 124cc single-cylinder, kicks out 11.4hp and pulls 8.7Nm of torque at the right RPMs — smooth acceleration, no fuss, great for short trips or getting around town without stressing. Air-cooled, so it’s easy to maintain, which is a big plus if you’re just starting out or want something low-maintenance.

Top speed’s around 92km/h — not the fastest, but it handles city traffic well and doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The suspension is decent too: 130mm front fork, adjustable rear shock, and a solid braking setup with 278mm front and 220mm rear discs, both with 2-piston calipers. CBS helps with braking balance, which gives you a bit more confidence when stopping on uneven roads.

The 2025 model has a fresh look — first time seeing Keeway’s new logo, which ties into their 25th anniversary. It’s lightweight at 133kg, looks sporty but not over-the-top, and feels solid for daily use. There’s an LCD screen to check speed, fuel, and settings, and a USB port so you can charge your phone while riding — small things that add up.

Fuel economy’s good too — 15.6-litre tank, low consumption, so you’re not constantly refilling. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and it’s been reliable, easy to ride, and not too noisy.

It’s been through the full OTR process, including tax and registration, so it’s ready to go — the total cost comes to around £1,709.10, but that’s not what I’m focusing on.
