I’ve had this MG ZS EV for a couple of years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable and enjoyable drives I’ve ever had. It’s a deep black, so it doesn’t really stand out much — but it’s a solid, clean look that’s easy to keep up with.

The 73kWh battery gives you a real long-range feel, and with 115kW of power, it pulls away smoothly without any lag. No engine noise, just quiet, smooth power — perfect for city driving or even weekend trips. The automatic transmission is a breeze to use, and the electric motor gives instant torque, so you don’t have to worry about shifting or getting sluggish.

Inside, it’s a bit more premium than you’d expect — good materials, clean layout, and the 10.1-inch screen is easy to use. I’ve got Android Auto and Apple CarPlay set up, and the voice commands work pretty well. There’s also a full digital dash, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise, blind spot detection, and rear parking sensors — all of which help keep things safe and stress-free, especially when driving on the motorway or in busy areas.

I’ve used it for everything from daily commutes to family trips, and the boot space is actually quite useful. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical and has a decent balance of tech and usability. Charging’s straightforward — works with most fast chargers, and I’ve charged it at home regularly.

It’s not a flashy car, but it’s a real step up from older EVs. The running costs are low, and it’s been surprisingly easy to maintain.
