So, I’ve been keeping this car for years — it’s a 2011 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec in blue, manual, and it’s been a one-owner car from new. Only 27,500 miles on the clock, and I’ve kept it well looked after — 14 service records, no major issues, just a few little things.

It drives perfectly — no rough spots, no knocking, just smooth and reliable. Brakes are solid, discs and pads are good, timing chain’s fine (no cam belt needed), and all the electric bits work — windows, mirrors, air con. Cold air con, which is a nice touch in summer.

There was one small incident — a wing mirror got hit and the rear door had a tiny scrap. That’s all — no major damage, and it won’t affect the insurance you take on it. I’ve actually got the replacement wing mirror cover and indicator coming in the mail, so I’ll just pop those in once they arrive.
