Description

So, I’ve got this 2007 VW Transporter T32 long wheelbase campervan — it’s been converted into a 4-person pop top camper, and I’ve been using it for the past 7 years. It’s actually been in three previous owners’ hands, but I’ve had it since then and it’s been pretty reliable overall.

It’s got a 1.9 diesel engine, 5-speed manual, and the seats are set up with a captain’s seat and a front bench — all five seats have seatbelts. The rear has an up-and-over door, and there’s a tow bar too. The pop top is a Fiamma F45, which is a bit worn now — the front and rear panels show some age and would need replacing if you wanted to get it back to full condition. That said, the rest of the setup is solid: rock n roll bed, kitchen area with a 2-ring gas hob, a Dometic grill, sink (with fold-away tap), fridge, fold-away table, spotlights, and full glazing with curtains on all windows.

There’s an on-board water tank and a leisure battery, and the heater runs on two gas bottles — works fine when it’s not freezing. The interior has been kept pretty tidy, and it comes with two keys, handbooks, manuals, and a bit of service history — including a cambelt change.

I’ve never had it inspected or tested, so if you’re thinking about buying it, I’d really recommend a proper pre-purchase check by a professional.

It’s a brokered sale — the buyer and seller are connecting directly, and we just facilitate the process. That means standard cancellation rights and legal protections might not apply, so if you’re unsure, I’d suggest getting independent advice before moving forward.

I’m based in Welwyn-Garden City, Welwyn Hatfield, so if you’re local or nearby, it’s not too far. I’ve been in the motor trade for over 40 years with my family — Nick, Chloe, and Michael — and we’re known for being straightforward and helpful. We’re based in Gisburn, which is just a bit outside the North of England, but we cover a wide area including Clitheroe, Preston, the Lake District, and beyond.

I always recommend calling before you come over — just to make sure it’s still available. We’re open Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM. Sundays are closed.

It’s not cheap — I’m thinking £12,595.50 — but it’s a solid, practical van with real use, and I’ve used it for a lot of trips over the years. If you’ve got a need for a reliable, roomy camper, it’s worth a look. Just make sure you check it out properly.
