Description

This old English square piano from the early 1800s was made by Thomas Tomkison of London – the kind of instrument people would’ve prized back then. The case is solid mahogany with a lovely brass nameplate inlay, and it definitely has that old-school charm. Sadly, it’s missing its legs and pedal now, and it’s been sitting in a corner for years with a bit of neglect. It’s not in great shape, but it’s still got soul and could be a real showpiece with some serious work. I’ve lived with it in Wrexham, Wales, and it’s been a bit of a family heirloom, so I’m parting with it now. It’s only costing £0.90, which is honestly just a tiny price for something so old and full of history. I’m not sure if anyone would actually want to restore it, but if you’re into vintage instruments or just curious about the history of old furniture, it might spark a conversation.
