2012 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDi BlueMotion Tech SE 5-door Estate Diesel Manual
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2012 Tiguan 2.0 TDi with the BlueMotion badge, and it’s been properly looked after. I’ve had it for a while, and it’s actually done about 59k miles, but it’s been on a solid service history, with all the key bits checked and replaced when needed — timing belt, water pump, everything. It’s a diesel, so it’s reliable, and the manual gearbox isn’t too bad — I’ve driven it mostly on the road, not a lot of long hauls, but it handles well. I’ve got the 4-wheel drive, which comes in handy when the weather turns, and the park assist with front and rear sensors is pretty handy — I don’t have to fumble with parking much anymore.
Inside, it’s fairly well equipped — 6CD autochanger, Bluetooth, USB, DAB radio, and a touchscreen that’s not too fussy to use. There’s a 12V socket in the centre console and another in the boot, which is useful if you’re doing things like charging a laptop or a phone. The seats are comfortable, with front lumbar support and height adjustment, and the rear ones fold down nicely.
The wheels are 17-inch Philly alloy wheels, and the trim is mostly body-coloured — mirrors, bumpers, door handles — gives it a clean, solid look. The windows are electric, heated rear window, and the seats have good support. I’ve got a spare wheel too, though it’s a space-saver steel one.
The interior is mostly anthracite with some silver trim, and the dashboard has good lighting. There’s a lot of storage — cup holders, under-seat drawers, storage trays, and even a cooled glovebox with a lock. I’ve kept it clean and well-maintained, and it’s been through a full MOT with no issues.
I’ve also got a 12-month MOT, 6-month breakdown cover, and a 6-month warranty — all standard, nothing fancy, but it gives peace of mind. I’m selling it because I’ve moved to Heckmondwike, Kirklees, and I’m looking to switch to something a bit more practical.
It’s not flashy, but it’s solid — reliable, well-maintained, and has been used for real life driving. I’ve had it through a few seasons of weather, and it’s still holding up.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to talk — no pressure, just a straightforward car with a good history.
