So, I’ve got this 2009 Iveco Daily 35S12 chassis cab sitting in my garage in Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough — it’s been standing for over five years now. It’s a diesel manual, 2.3 litre, 5-speed, and it’s been used as a spears or repairs vehicle, so it’s not exactly a daily driver.

It’s done 188,761 miles, had a MOT that expired in 2020, and hasn’t been driven much since. The engine and gearbox are both in great shape — I can start it and it drives fine. The tyres are on the rims, but they’re not in great shape and it’ll need recovery if you’re trying to move it.

Inside it’s pretty clean and solid — just a few dents and marks, nothing major. The seats and dash are intact, and the safety belts still work. I’ve kept it in good condition mostly, but it’s not road-ready for regular use.

It’s a bit of a project — the chassis is solid, and I’ve used it for parts before. If you’re looking for a solid base for a rebuild or just want to dig into the mechanics, it’s a good one.
