Victorian Engraved Map of Oran, Algeria – 1800s Atlas

I’ve had this old map in my family for years – it’s a mid-1800s Victorian atlas page showing Oran, Algeria, with detailed hand-illustrated details. The paper is slightly faded but the engraving is crisp and clear. It’s about 47x35cm, framed in a simple wooden mount I made myself. I found it tucked away in an old trunk and only recently decided to share it. It’s not perfect – a bit of creasing and a small tear near the edge – but it’s still a solid piece of history. I’m keeping it in Colchester, Essex, and it’s a little bit of a curiosity I’d love to pass on. I’m not sure how much it’s worth, but it’s definitely not for display – more for a collector or someone who just loves old maps. It’s £45.00.
