8 Month Old Black Labrador Puppy
Description
Hey, I’ve got this sweet little black Labrador pup, River, and I’m looking for a good home for him. He’s 8 months old now and has been going through a lot of the tough stuff already — no more teething, which means he’s finally settling into a more relaxed routine. He’s been bred by a mate of mine from Bailey Aguzani, who’s an All England Gun Dog Champion, and his sire’s a solid working bloodline — strong, muscular, and built for the field. If he’d been fully KC registered, he’d be worth over £7000 when he’s fully trained next year, but honestly, he’s already a joy to be around.
River is well-behaved for his age, very gentle, and loves kids, cats, rabbits, and horses. He swims great — even in rivers — and doesn’t get stressed by loud noises like gunshots or fireworks. He’s been properly chipped, vaccinated, and wormed, and I’ve been feeding him a raw diet with rabbit legs, ears, and fish. He’s eating well and seems happy most of the time.
He’s doing solid in basic training — sits, stops when called, and has started some heel work off-lead. I’ve been slowly working on longer sits and traveling in a crate or dog box, and he’s getting there. He’s not a chewer, sleeps well in a crate or just snuggles up on the sofa, and has a soft mouth — no "land shark" stuff.
I’ve had him for a while and he’s been through a lot of the early stages of growing up. I’d prefer he gets neutered if he’s going to be a pet, just because I think it’s better for his long-term wellbeing.
I’m based in Mountain-ash, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and he’s a real character with a lot of potential. If you’re looking for a calm, reliable, loving dog who’s already got a good foundation — whether for companionship, therapy, or even as a shooting partner — he might just be the one.
He’s not a rescue, and I’ve avoided the messy parts of getting a pup from a shelter or a stressful separation. He’s ready to go and has a great personality. Just wanted to share him with someone who’ll really appreciate him.
