So, I’ve got this 2013 Golf Bluemotion TSI – 1.4L petrol, manual gearbox, five doors – and I’m letting it go. It’s been a solid, reliable workhorse for years, and honestly, I’ve never had to spend a fortune on repairs or insurance.

The engine’s smooth, the 6-speed manual is still sharp, and it’s got that classic Golf feel – quiet, efficient, not flashy but totally dependable. I’ve done full VW service history – five stamps with the dealer – and had a fresh one done in March 2025. MOT runs until July 2026, so it’s all good. 96,000 miles on the clock, ULEZ compliant, no issues at all.

The bodywork is clean, no dents or big flaws. It’s been treated with care, so it still looks like it does. Inside’s all intact – aircon, cruise, Bluetooth, AUX, USB, DAB radio, touchscreen, heated mirrors, electric windows, ISOFIX seats, alarm, and even a height-adjustable driver’s seat. The alloy wheels are fine too, and the rear seats fold easily.
