Solid Wood Scratching Post

Got this solid wood scratching post from a bit of a cat-loving chaos in my old home in Lydney, Forest of Dean. It’s been a real go-to for my big cat — especially the Maine Coon who’s always stretching like a furry springboard. The post is made from natural solid wood, and it’s got two sides: one side sisal, one side felt, so she gets to scratch and play on different textures. The base is 60x22cm, and the full size is 75x25x18cm — it’s tall and slim, so it doesn’t take up much space. I didn’t need to use any tools to put it together or take it down, which is a small win for me.

It’s been used lightly, still looks great, and fits in any room without looking like a piece of furniture that was just thrown in. I’m moving abroad soon and just can’t bring it with me — so thought I’d share it. If you’ve got a cat who’s always trying to stretch or claw their way through everything, this might be the one. I’ve only got £10.80 for it, but I’m not saying that in the title — just something you might find useful if you're looking for a no-fuss, stylish scratching post that actually works.
