Description

Got this Apollo Evade mountain bike from the orkney-islands, Scotland, and it’s been sitting in the shed for a while — just never really got around to using it properly. It’s a 14-inch frame, built for taller kids or young riders aged 7 to 12, and the frame’s still solid, no dents or major wear. The alloy frame is light, which makes it easy to handle, and the front suspension (Apollo alloy fork) gives a decent bump absorption on rougher trails.

I’ve always liked how simple the 21-speed Shimano gearing is — not too complicated, easy to shift whether you’re riding flat or climbing hills. Disc brakes mean you can stop confidently, which is a big plus when you’re on a tricky downhill. The wheels are 27.5” with Wanda All Terrain tyres, so they grip well even on muddy or loose ground.

I’ve used it a few times over the years, mostly on local trails, and it’s held up well. It’s not flashy or fancy, but it’s reliable and fun to ride — especially for kids who love getting out and exploring. I’ve priced it at £117, but if you're interested, I’ll chat about it. Just wanted to share it before I find a new use for it.
