So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2019 Golf GTi TCR, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels right when you drive it. I bought it new and it’s been well looked after, with full VW service history right through to the front diff oil and all the bits that matter.

It’s got the rare Akrapovic titanium exhaust, which is a bit of a showstopper if you’re into performance — it’s not loud, just a bit of a growl when you take off. The interior is grey Alcantara with red contrast stitching and carbon look trim, and the seats are heated. There’s a sliding armrest, adaptive cruise, and Apple CarPlay, which I use all the time.

I’ve got the Performance Pack, Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), LED headlights with light assist, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, keyless entry and go, and even electric folding mirrors. The roof has a spoiler, and there’s privacy glass too. The wheels are 19-inch Pretoria alloys in gloss black, and I’ve got 15mm M-Tec spacers and H&R lowering springs — not too much, just enough to make it feel a bit more planted.

It’s finished in pure grey with TCR honeycomb side decals, and the interior has that classic red contrast that really stands out. I’ve also had the Halle 61 centre console deleted, which I think makes it feel a bit more stripped back.

I’ve driven it regularly, mostly on the roads around Droitwich, Wychavon — it’s a solid daily driver with a bit of weekend thrills. I’m not selling it to a race team or anything, just passing it on because I’ve moved on to something else.

It’s sitting in my driveway, ready to go — I’ve kept it clean and well-maintained, and it’s got a full service history. The price is £24,295.50, which I’ll be honest, is a bit steep, but it’s what it is. If you’re into a proper GTi with real bits and pieces, this one’s got a lot of the good stuff.

Just wanted to share it — if you’re looking for something with character and a bit of performance, this might be your kind of car.
