3 Biography Books: Gandhi, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Henry VII
Description
Hey, I’ve got these three biography books I’ve had for a while — all softbound, so they’re not fancy, just plain paperbacks. I’m not selling them for much, just giving them away.First one is *Gandhi – Naked Ambition* by Jad Adams. It’s about Mahatma Gandhi — the man behind India’s independence movement in the 1930s and 40s. Quercus, 2010 edition.
Second is *Eleanor of Aquitaine* by Alison Weir. Covers her life as wife to Henry I and mother to Richard and John — two of England’s kings. Pimlico, 2000.
Third is *Winter King – The Dawn of Tudor England* by Thomas Penn. Talks about Henry VII — the one who took the throne in 1485 and started the Tudor line. Penguin, 2012.
I found them at a second-hand shop years ago, and I’ve kept them in a drawer since. I’m just passing them on now — any one or two or all three, it’s all good. I’m in Romsey, Test Valley, so if you’re local and want to pick them up, just let me know. They’re not expensive — I’m just giving them away for free. No strings, no fuss. Just happy to share.
