2022 Mazda MX-30 Sport Lux 35.5kWh Electric Hatchback
Description
So I’ve been keeping this one for a while now — it’s a 2022 Mazda MX-30, Sport Lux trim, 35.5kWh battery, five-door hatchback, all-electric, automatic. Got it from a family in Ryton, Gateshead, and I’ve been using it for a few months, mostly around the city and some weekend trips. It’s not flashy, but it’s got a solid setup — 8.8-inch touchscreen with Mazda Connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, full blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, and driver attention alert. The head-up display is actually pretty handy, especially when you’re on the move. I’ve used the reversing camera and parking sensors a lot — they work well.
Inside, it’s got a bit of that classic Mazda feel — piano black trim, grey metallic side panels, cloth and leatherette upholstery. Seats are comfortable, especially the front with the 8-way power adjustment and memory settings. The second row has a 3-seat bench and can fold down easily. There’s a climate control screen, heated front seats, and a lot of little touches that make it feel more like a real car than a plug-in.
Charging’s straightforward — 6.6kW charger, Type 2 plug for both home and public chargers, and it’s got a DC socket for fast charging up to 50kW. The engine sound emulator is a nice touch — helps make it feel less like a silent electric car when you’re driving.
I’ve had it for a while, so it’s not brand new, but it’s been well looked after. The dashboard has that 7-inch climate screen, and the infotainment system works fine. No major issues so far — just a bit of wear on the door mirrors and some minor scratches, nothing serious.
I’ve got a 12-month warranty and roadside assistance included, which is great if you’re thinking about using it more than a few short trips. It’s not a daily driver yet, but it’s reliable and practical.
If you're in the area or looking for something reliable and quiet, it’s definitely worth a look. I’m not selling it because I need the cash — more like I’ve found a better fit for my needs now and wanted to pass it on.
Price is £9,855 — that’s not something I’d advertise upfront, but if you’re interested, I can chat. No pressure, just honest and real.
Got it in Ryton, Gateshead — easy to meet up if you're local.
