Got this old copy of The Face Magazine from August 1984 — issue No. 52. It’s the one with Ian McCulloch on the cover, and it’s a solid slice of 80s culture. There’s a 4-page profile of Ian from Echo & the Bunnymen, plus a deep dive into gay disco history. Also features Thomas Dolby, Fela Kuti, Al Green, Gore Vidal, and Test Dept. The photos in it are decent, and I’ve got a picture showing the full contents list if you want to see it.

It’s in very good condition — not perfect, but nothing to write home about. I’m based in Pontyclun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, so if you’re local, I’d be happy to swap it over. If not, I’ll just send it with a bit of postage — it’s £18, but I’m not charging for it, just keeping it as a personal bit of nostalgia.
