Got this old enamel sign for The People Newspaper sitting in my shed for years. Not in perfect shape by any means — bits are corroded, there’s a few holes, and it’s been out in the weather for probably 75 years or more. The colours are still vivid where they’re left, though, and it’s definitely unmistakable once you see it. I remember seeing it in a shop back in the day, and it was a big deal at the time. Now, people are starting to notice how collectible these things are, so it’s a decent starter piece for someone looking to get into enamel signs. I’m not asking much, just open to a fair offer — it’s a bit of a character with a story, and I’d hate to see it go to someone who doesn’t appreciate it.
