127mm Ancon Staifix Timber Frame Tie – 250 pcs for 50mm Cavity

I’ve got a bunch of these 127mm Ancon Staifix timber frame ties – 250 of them in total, packed in 7 boxes. They’re for use in 50mm cavity walls, specifically designed to secure brick or blockwork to timber frames, up to four storeys high.

They’re Type 6 ties, which means they’ve been tested and approved for use with 15mm OSB or SIPS panels. Comes with an annular ring shank nail – if you need to swap it out, you can just use a 4x30mm stainless steel screw instead.

The cranked design makes it easier to install and helps stop moisture from getting through the cavity. It’s a solid, practical bit for anyone doing timber frame work.

I’ve been using these on a few projects around church-crookham, Fleet, and they’ve held up well. I’ve kept them in good shape and just need to get rid of the boxes. Price is £225 if you’re interested – no fancy talk, just a straightforward bit of building material.
