Curated and translated by Gulzar, one of India’s most respected poets, it’s got poems from 279 different poets across 34 languages. It’s not just a book — it’s a real taste of Indian poetry over the past 70 years. The box is still intact, and it’s been sitting on my shelf for years. I picked it up when I was doing some reading on Indian culture, and I never really got around to using it much. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re into poetry or just curious about different voices from the Indian subcontinent, it might spark something. I’ve got it in a box, so it’s not just a pile of paper — it’s actually a nice, clean volume. I’m moving out of Dungiven, Causeway Coast and Glens District soon and just wanted to part with it.
