2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 D 4Matic AMG Line
Description
So, I’ve had this 2017 GLE 350 D 4Matic for just over a year now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable and comfortable SUVs I’ve ever driven. It’s got that Obsidian Black paint, which looks great in the sun, and the interior is all Artico leather in black — feels really nice, especially on long drives. The AMG Line trim gives it a bit of edge without being flashy, and the 4Matic all-wheel drive makes a real difference when it’s wet or windy — I’ve used it on the coast near Bridport a few times, and it handles those roads better than most.
It’s a diesel, 3.0-litre engine, so it doesn’t rev too hard, but it’s got plenty of oomph when you need it. The automatic gearbox is smooth — no jerky shifts, which is a real plus. And I’ve got a fully electric tow bar fitted, so if I ever need to tow something, I’m good to go.
I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s just sitting in my driveway, and I’ve been using it for daily commutes and weekend trips. I’ve kept it well maintained, and the only thing I’d say is the safety belt pretensioners are still working fine, which I’ve tested a couple of times.
It’s a solid, well-rounded vehicle — not flashy, not overpriced, just a dependable, capable SUV. If you’re looking for something that actually feels like it’s built to last, this one’s been doing that for me.
I’m based in Bridport, Dorset, so if you’re local or planning a visit, I can arrange a view or just chat about it. No pressure, just sharing something I’ve genuinely used and liked.
