So, I’ve got this Paul Donohue road bike — 56cm frame, brand new, built in England. Honestly, it’s one of those bikes that just feels like it was made for people who care about both comfort and performance.

It’s been sitting in a storage shed in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, for years — not because I didn’t ride it, but because the original owner, a former national-level cyclist, had to step away due to injuries. He built it himself, kept it in pristine condition, and never touched the pedals. That means it’s never been ridden — no wear, no scratches, just factory-fresh paint.

The groupset is Shimano 105, wheels are alloy, and the frame is lightweight steel — perfect for daily commutes or longer rides. The bottom bracket is sealed, bearings are smooth as silk, brakes are responsive, and it handles hills like a dream. I’m 5’7” and it fits me like a glove — no issues with height or reach.

The paint alone would cost over £400 — so yeah, this thing is solid. I’ve only been using it for a few test rides myself, and it’s been quiet, smooth, and reliable.

I’m not selling it to just anyone — I’m just passing it on because I’ve moved, and I’m not riding it anymore. It’s still in great shape, ready to go on someone’s daily commute or weekend rides.
