So, I’ve got a 2007 Mercedes S550 W221 LWB — one of those proper S-Class beasts — and I’m selling it because I’ve been using it for a while and just don’t need it anymore.

It’s been owned by two people from new — one was a Japanese buyer, the other is me personally. I’ve actually still got my own S-Class (a bit older) running in the garage, so I know what to look for. This one has been imported by us in 2023 and has only done 32,979 miles since new — not a bad number for a 16-year-old car.

It’s metallic Obsidian Black with a semi-aniline leather interior — Nappa black and anthracite with wood-burr walnut veneer, which I’ve always liked. The seats have memory function, heated, and the climate control is top-notch. The 5460cc V8 engine is smooth, and it’s got a 7-speed auto, which I’ve been happy with over the years.

I had it fully serviced at 32,293 miles — new tyres fitted, AMG-style alloy wheels added. It’s got everything: parking sensors, rear camera, bi-xenon headlights, cruise control, traction control, ABS, airbags all around, power windows, mirrors, and even a power sunroof. The boot has all the extras — cup holders, child seat mounts (Isofix), tool kit, spare wheel, and even a boot liner.

It’s ULEZ compliant, has a valid MOT until June 2025, and comes with a full HPI report. I’ve also got the original manuals and service book. The car’s been in great shape, and I’m happy to show it off — if you want to see it, I’m up for a test drive.
