Scott Spark RC 900 Carbon Team Edition
Description
This is my old Scott Spark RC 900 Team Carbon – one of those rare limited editions that only ever came in small runs. I’ve had it for years, mostly stored and not ridden much, but it’s been kept in perfect condition. The frame is full carbon, built with IMP tech and that HMF 1x setup – pretty much a high-end build for its time. It’s a medium frame with 29er wheels, and everything’s in place: RockShox SID Select+ fork, FOX Nude Evolve rear shock, and the SCOTT TwinLoc suspension system with remote control. The shock has all three modes – lockout, traction control, and descend – and the travel’s adjustable from 100mm down to 70mm.
I’ve kept the original parts mostly intact – SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, Shimano SLX M7100 brakes, and the DUB crankset with Boost 32T chainring. The wheels are Syncros Silverton 2.5s, tubeless-ready with 28H rims, and the tyres are Maxxis Rekon Race 2.35" with Kevlar beads.
I don’t ride it much anymore – it’s just been sitting in a garage in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, where I live. It’s not been used much, so the wear’s minimal. I bought it new when it was still near £4k, and it’s been stored well.
I’m just letting it go now – it’s not for racing, but it’s a solid, well-built machine. I’m happy to chat about it if you’re interested. If you’re thinking about riding it, it’s in great shape and ready to go.
(Weight’s around 11kg, so it’s not light, but it’s stable and solid. I’ve kept it clean and maintained through the years.)
