Honda ST1100Y 2000 X reg with lots of upgrades

Got this Honda Pan European ST1100Y in 2000 (X reg) and stuck with it for 19 years. 78k miles total — I’ve done most of the maintenance myself, including regular checks and a few big overhauls. The cam belt hasn’t been changed, which is a bit of a confession — but it’s still running strong. I’ve always kept it in the garage, which helped, though the lockup was a bit draughty over the years.

Mechanically, it’s solid. Rides smooth and handles well. Last MOT was 9 months ago — I’ve got the paperwork for all but one, just in case. Front tyre’s due for a swap, rear’s still got some life left.

It’s been upgraded a lot over the years — clearview screens, Corbin king & queen seat with leather trim, Traxxion front fork kit, White Power rear shock (coil’s a bit rusty, needs servicing), Motad 4 into 1 manifold with original Honda silencers, big GIVI topbox, Superbrace fork brace, HEL braided front brakes, adjustable levers, Oxford heated grips, and wind deflectors on the fairing and mirrors.

I’ve got the original screen and a rear silencer stashed away. The swinging arm was stripped, welded, and repainted about four years ago. All three front brake calipers got new seals a few months back. Loads of receipts and records piled up over the years. Two keys included.

Selling because the rented garage in Bridport, Dorset is being demolished — not much of a choice, really. It’s been a great ride, and I’ve loved every minute of it. Hope someone else can enjoy it as much.
