So, I’ve got my son’s old mountain bike sitting in the garage here in Galashiels, Scottish Borders. He’s grown out of it, so I figured it’s time to part with it. It’s been stored away for ages—no rust, no weather damage, just a bit of dust and a small tear in the seat (see photo). Not much to see, really.It’s a 17" frame, which means it’s a bit on the smaller side—perfect for teens or smaller adults who still like to ride. It’s got front and rear gears, so shifting is smooth whether you’re on a city path or a rough trail. The brakes are disc ones on both ends, which gives you solid stopping power no matter what.
I’ve kept it clean and safe in the garage, so it’s just waiting for someone to give it a quick wipe and get back on the trail. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid—works well, handles well, and has been used only a few times. If you’re looking for a reliable bike that’s not too flashy but still gets the job done, this one might be your kind of thing.
