Description
I’ve had these old Wade animal figures for years – they’re a bit of a treasure from my mum’s collection. Eight of them in total, all hand-painted porcelain with that classic British whimsy. They’ve always been in a cupboard, mostly just sitting there, but I’ve been thinking about sharing them. The colours are a bit faded now, but the details still stand out – like a little fox with a leaf hat or a rabbit in a tiny hat, all with that soft, glossy finish. Made in the UK back in the day, they’re not super rare, but there’s something special about how they look, like a piece of old British charm. I found them in a box tucked away in the attic, and they just felt right to keep. I’ve used them as decor in a few different rooms over the years, and they always bring a smile. I’m not sure if anyone else has them, but if you’re into vintage ceramics or just love the feel of old-style pottery, they might be a nice little addition. I’ve kept them in good shape, just a bit dusty, and they’re in decent condition. I’m letting them go for £7.20 – not much, really, since they’re not flashy or super valuable, just a bit of fun nostalgia.
