16" Dawes Thunder Steel Kids Bike – Blue, Age 5-7

Description

Got this bike sorted and ready to go – it’s been washed, lubed, and properly serviced so it’s in great condition for a kid to start riding. I’ve only used it once before, and it’s been well looked after since.

It’s a 16" Dawes Thunder, steel frame, 10" frame, single speed with a 18T freewheel – perfect for kids aged 5 to 7, around 105–120cm tall. The wheels are 16", single wall rims, with RALSON 16 x 1.75 tyres still in very good shape – just need a bit of air (35–40 psi). Brakes are caliper type, with nylon levers that you can adjust. The saddle and pedals are both in good shape – black saddle, non-slip pedals with reflectors, and there’s a chainguard to keep clothes from getting caught.

Handlebar and saddle height are adjustable, and there’s a bell and a semi-riser steel handlebar with grips. It’s a solid, sturdy frame with a black colour. No stabilisers recommended – they don’t help kids learn to balance or ride properly. If you’d like to add one, I can point you to a basic one for £5, but it’s not part of the bike’s design.

It’s registered with the National Bike Register, so I’ll transfer that to you after you take it. The bike is stored at OMA Bikes in Maghull, Sefton – collection available Tuesday to Saturday, 11am–7pm.
