2013 MINI Countryman 1.6 Cooper S SUV
Description
I’m selling my 2013 MINI Countryman – it’s one of those cars that just feels fun to drive, even if you don’t plan on going off-road. It’s a solid red, and it looks sharp with the 18-inch alloy wheels and that CHILI Pack styling – gives it a bit of a sporty edge without being flashy. The engine’s a 1.6L petrol unit with 184 horsepower, which is plenty for city drives and short trips. It’s not the fastest thing on the road, but it’s smooth and responsive, and it gets decent fuel economy for an SUV – around 40 mpg combined.
I’ve kept it well maintained over the years, and it’s got all the basics: bi-xenon headlights, heated rear window, automatic air conditioning, and a decent sound system with Bluetooth and USB. The seats are comfortable, and the 40:20:40 split rear backrests mean the space in the back is useful for kids or gear.
I’ve also got the PDC, hill assist, and electronic stability control – so it’s safe and manageable in all sorts of weather. The interior is clean, the carpets are in good shape, and the dashboard looks like it’s been well cared for.
It’s been in my family for a few years now, and I’ve used it for everything from weekend getaways to just getting to work. I’m selling it because I’m moving to a new area and need to downsize.
The car is based in Alston, Westmorland and Furness, so it’s not far from where I live. It’s been through regular servicing and has a full MOT and long-term logbook.
I’ve had it for over 10 years now and it’s been reliable. The price is £7,191 – which is fair for what it is, especially with all the features.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or arrange a quick view. No pressure, just a straightforward handover.
I’ve got a few other cars in the family, but this one has been my go-to for years – it’s honest, practical, and just about the only car that fits in my garage without taking over the whole thing.
Let me know if you’d like to see it – I’ll make time.
