Fire Screen/Card Table

Got this old fire screen/card table sitting in my shed at binley, St. Mary Bourne. It’s a vintage hand-made tapestry, really nice craftsmanship – the kind you’d see in a 1950s living room. It stands on its own as a fire screen, but you can easily flip it over and slide the base down to turn it into a small baize-covered card table. Dimensions are 70cm tall, 45cm wide, 26cm deep – the table itself is 55cm x 45cm x 60cm tall. It’s been in good use but still looks really solid, no major damage. The fabric is a bit faded but still attractive. I’ve only just realised I don’t really use it much anymore, so thought I’d part with it. If you’re local and want to collect it, I can arrange a drop-off or just hand it over. Carriage is covered if you’re picking it up – no hassle, just a friendly handover. Price is £18, but that’s not what I’m focusing on – it’s more about sharing something that’s been part of my home life for years.
