Got two pine headboards for a single bed — each is 40 inches wide, sturdy and solid, not fancy but plenty strong. They’re from a room I’ve been renovating and I’ve kept them as a bit of a keepsake. One’s slightly scuffed from use, the other’s cleaner — both are in good shape and would fit a simple bed setup.
