2024 Toyota Corolla Icon HEV Estate – Front and side damage, ex-police, salvage repairable
Description
So, I’ve got this 2024 Toyota Corolla Icon HEV Estate here — it’s a hybrid auto estate, and it’s been in a bit of a crash. Front and side damage, mostly. Came through from an insurance claim, was previously used by the police, so it’s not a personal car, just a vehicle that’s been through the system. Now, I’m not saying it’s perfect — it’s definitely not road-ready as is. It’s in a salvage condition, and we’re not giving any warranties. If you’re thinking about buying it, you absolutely need to come see it in person. I’d really recommend bringing your own mechanic or a vehicle engineer to check out the damage. There’s no guarantee on anything — not the engine, not the gearbox, not the interior, not even the spare wheel or the sat-nav.
I know the pictures and details on eBay or Gumtree might look good, but they’re just a quick summary. A lot of the info is filled in by the platforms and might not be 100% accurate. I’ve seen that before — always double-check everything.
If you're looking at it, you’ll need to get a proper inspection. The vehicle won’t be allowed on public roads until it’s fully repaired and passes all legal standards. Even if it had a MOT before, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive now — it could have been damaged after the test. You’ll need a new MOT once it’s fixed.
We’re based in Dalry-North Ayrshire, North Ayrshire — so if you’re coming from further away, just let me know. I’ve got Shaun and Dave on the phone, and we’re open Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm, and Sunday by appointment.
Payments can be done by debit card (we prefer bank transfer), cash at site (with ID and a 2% handling fee), or cash at bank — just call for details. Any deposits are non-refundable, and if you don’t collect by the agreed date, we’ll keep it and resell it.
No second-hand parts or data — everything’s been stored separately before we get it. So, if it’s not right for you, that’s fine. But if you’re serious, come take a look. It’s a solid base, and I’ve got a few other ones in stock if you’re interested.
Just don’t assume it’s in good shape. It’s not. It’s salvage. And that’s what it is.
